Background- Acute appendicits is most common cause of an ‘acute abdomen’ in young adults and as such the associated symptoms signs have become a paradigm for clinical teaching. Though extraordinary advances modern diagnostic investigations been achieved, diagnosis acute appendicitis remains essentially clinical, requiring mixture observation, acumen surgical knowledge. Objectives- To assess association between radiological operative findings thus evaluate accuracy accuracy. Materials And Methods- It prospective study, conducted group 400 cases admitted with suspected to Department General Surgery, KIMS Hospital, Bangalore after satisfying inclusion exclusion criterias. The study involved application modified Alvarado scoring system ultrasound examination diagnosis, at end sensitivity, specificity was calculated Modified examination. Results- Appendicitis more commonly found 3rd decade (42%) followed 4thdecade (23.7%). males (61%) against females (39%) by using score has sensitivity 94, 34 diagnosing appendicitis.
